I am the light just like Helena. A Sarah Manning and Rachel Duncan uber trash blog. You can find me crying in the pol pit of denial.

I know this might be a stupid question, but can anyone who is well versed in social justice tell me, is it possible to be racist towards your own race? Every time I try to explain to people on how privileged our race is it’s like I just proclaimed myself to be a part of a terrorist group or something, people would accused me of being unpatriotic and tell me that I have forgotten about my roots. I mean I don’t get it? I’m just trying to make a small talk about how much the system in my country is in favor of the majority race and I can understand if minorities feels angered towards us because they are indeed oppressed.
